Happy 23rd Birthday To Tekashi 6ix9ine!
Happy Birthday to the Tekashi 6ix9ine! Everyone’s least favorite rapper is behind bars for his special day and will be for a very, very long time. The older I’ve gotten the more my birthdays have become a day of reflection and I’ve noticed that’s the case for a lot of other people too. I can’t imagine what Tekashi must be thinking sitting in a 6 x 8 feet box right now. Regardless of being a pretty piece of shit human being he had the world by the balls. He was young, rich and had all of America’s eyes glued to him whether they loved him or hated him. He just didn’t know when to say when. He time and time again called people out, challenged them, told them to suck his dick and just wouldn’t listen to the numerous OG’s of the rap game who actually liked him and tried to warn him he was going overboard and hanging with the wrong crowd.
I’m not gonna say it’s a shame to see because everything that happened to him he walked right into. He pretended to be hard and then turned out to be a snitch the second shit hit the fan. There’s a chance he’ll never see a day out of jail/witness protection again. But what I will say is I really hope we get to see a documentary on Tekashi 6ix9ine 20 years from now and see what a 43 year old Daniel Hernandez (Tekashi 6ix9ine) has to say about the way his life turned out and if he would do it all over again. J Cole said it in a verse and I started thinking that a future documentary about Tekashi would be some really interesting shit. There’s something so fascinating about watching someone have it all, lose it and then being able to reflect on the experiences years down the road. All the trials and tribulations of rising to huge fame and success and then watching it all evaporate in front of you because of your wrong doings must be a mammoth of a pill to have to swallow, but a phenomenal story. Kind of like a rap version of Ryan Leaf. Only thing is we don’t know where Tekashi’s story will end. Or if he’ll ever even get to tell that story. It will probably end with him in witness protection Henry Hill style. For the contents sake I sure as hell hope he gets to tell the story. Not to mention seeing a guy in his 40’s with 69’s tattooed all over him would be one hell of a visual.
