It Could Always Be Worse... You Could Be A Lakers Fan

Right now it straight up stinks to be a Celtics fan. Expectations weren’t met. The fanbase is torn about where to go from here. Kyrie is public enemy number one. Brad Stevens is calling himself Bad Stevens. Danny Ainge had a heart attack. Terry Rozier is very publicly pissed off. Kendrick Perkins is reading Kyrie Irving the riot act on national television. It’s a debacle. There is no fun being had by Celtics fans at this current moment in time.

But it sure as shit beats being a Lakers fan right now. I mean P U. This is one of the worst looking protests I’ve ever seen. Since they’re the Lakers it could turn on a dime very quickly, simply by a premier free agent wanting to live in Los Angeles and not wanting to play for the Clippers, but right now? I think I’d rather be a fan of the Knicks. Honest to God the Knicks. Lonzo Ball is getting BBB tattoos covered up. Magic Johnson is back with his true passion – tweeting. Ty Lue refuses to accept their coaching job despite having little-to-no leverage. Monty Williams decided Rob Sarver would be a better boss than Rob Pelinka. LeBron can’t put down the bottle. And precisely 17 Lakers fans are causing a ruckus outside of Staples Center in hopes that Jason Kidd isn’t the next coach of the premier franchise the NBA has to offer. Sometimes all it takes is a look over your neighbor’s fence to realize things aren’t so bad in your own backyard. This is one of those times.
