This is one of the toughest weeks of the year and no one ever talks about it. Week before 4th of July is synonymous with having to get a bunch of shit done because next week is an absolute fucking ghost town. So if it feels like your boss is up your ass or you have a ton of meetings, emails, deadlines etc. it’s because that’s exactly what’s happening. It’s like the week before Thanksgiving in college:take some midterms, go home and get fucked up and then a couple weeks later 2nd semester starts.

Same thing now except instead of taking midterms, you’re doing performance reviews and pretending to give a fuck. Then you get next week to get hammed up and then a couple weeks later it’s football season. There’s light at the end of the tunnel which brings me back to today.
