And that, my friends, is what we in the biz like to refer to as a good ol’ fashion weight room issue. Poor #18 on the Boston Cannons just making one of those grave mistakes that makes you question every single decision you’ve made in your life that led you to that moment. As his skull is rattling around in his helmet here, you know it’s gotta be a big time “what the fuck was I thinking” moment.
I get it. You’re trying to make a play for the boys. The pole gets beat on the ground ball. You’re the next man up so you decide to step in there to make sure that Molloy doesn’t get a clean sweep to his right hand. But c’mon buddy….this is Dylan Molloy. The man won the Tewaaraton in 2016 and he’s an extra thicc meatball out there. This is just a clear case of hubris if I’ve ever seen one before. It’s like a Honda Civic thinking it can stop an 18-wheeler in its tracks. Ill advised to say the least. But at least he ended up with a great view for the eventual goal. Silver linings.
P.S. – Throwback to the time that I tried out for the Lizards but those greasy bastards made the worst decision of their life and cut me. Haven’t won a Championship since. Coincidence? I think not.
