Last Chance U Star Ronald Ollie Has Been Cut By the Oakland Raiders
This breaks my heart. Not because he got cut, but because he got cut due to an injury. We didn’t even really get to see what he could on the field at the NFL level. No preseason games or even padded scrimmages. He went down with an injury at Saturday’s practice and hadn’t been able to practice since. There was a lot of people close to the situation that believed he had a real shot to make the roster. He’s a freak athlete at the DT position and has some solid tape to back it up.

Everyone fell in love with Ronald Ollie on Last Chance U for his endearing, lovable attitude and playful personality despite all the terrible tragedies he had seen and gone through in his life. (His father murdered his mother) The strong bond between Ollie and Miss Brittany Wagner was well documented on the show and displayed here in full effect when Ollie came to say his final goodbyes to Miss Wagner before he went off to Nichols State for the first time. She even ended up adopting a dog and naming the dog after Ollie (with his permission of course). I’m hopeful Ronald Ollie will get another chance to make a NFL roster. He’s a true underdog story who has overcame all the odds to be in this situation. If he clears waivers he’ll be free to sign with any team. I hate to say it but my New York Football Giants could use help at essentially every position besides RB (I love you Saquon). Just sayin’.
