Gregg Popovich Would Absolutely Dominate Your Men's League

I dare you to try and find someone who doesn’t love Gregg Popovich. He’s like the coaching gift that keeps on giving from his absolute disdain for any sort of interview, to his actual results on the floor. Well one of the best parts of the Team USA journey so far has been our ability to get even more access to this legend. Take that video above, tell me that isn’t EXACTLY how you envisioned Pop looking on the basketball court. The Kyrie Irving like handles, his ability to flawlessly transition from that move into his silky smooth jumper, I love every part of that short 14 second clip. That’s a man right there that understands BEEF and is very fundamentally sound, which is something we know he preaches to his players. Hell, his best player was named The Big Fundamental for crying out loud. That little spin at the end? We’ve all done that move. Someone calls for the ball and you give them that little spin action and it changes direction upon bouncing, classic basketball practice maneuver.

But there’s more! When I say I can’t get enough Pop during these practices I’m not kidding. Who could forget when he looked spry as a chicken a few weeks ago

Maybe it’s because of his demeanor, but watching Pop do the most simple things will always make me laugh. I’m also not ruling out that Pop is just staying ready in the event more people drop out of Team USA. Imagine unleashing a backcourt with Smart and Pop? Other teams are pooping their pants before the ball is even tipped I have no doubt.
