Drugs, multiple priors, named her daughter fucking “Mercedes”. It’s safe to say that Heather Garcia’s household didn’t look like “Gilmore Girls” growing up. This most recent arrest though…she can’t come back from this.

(Source)–A Utah woman was arrested Saturday after police say she impersonated her 21-year-old daughter during a routine traffic stop.

Heather Garcia, 38, was booked into the Davis County Jail early Saturday morning on several charges including providing false personal information to a peace officer after she was caught allegedly lying to authorities about her identity to avoid getting arrested for outstanding warrants.

Sure, trying to pin an arrest on your daughter isn’t a good look, but that wasn’t her most egregious fault here. Nope. If you’re a 38 year-old mother you can’t tell your daughter that she looks like you. CAN NOT. I don’t care if you’re a rocketship like Aunt Becky and her daughter who only goes to USC on gamedays. The absolute LAST thing a 21 year-old wants to hear is that she looks 38. You want to give your daughter a complex and self-esteem issues…tell her that her own mom thinks she looks like this

I’m sure with enough therapy all other transgressions by Heather Garcia against her daughter could be accepted and/or forgotten. Having your mother go on the record with police saying she thinks you look 38 and…well a rough 38 at that…that is something Mercedes will carry with her forever. How is she supposed to be confident on stage tonight after an insult like that from her own mother? Shameful.
