"The Big One" Hit The Mets Season, Swallowed It Whole, And Finally Broke Frank The Tank

Tonight:
Lets see how Frank The Tank is handling everything!
Full Periscope of the madness here:
What a goddamn disaster. Not you Frank, even though you need to take it easy right now because us Big Fellas are not wired to withstands blow ups like that. Take a night off from the vlog and save your NFL Preview on Sports Ecyclopedia for Thursday because we are all licking our wounds.
Everything about that game hurts now that it’s over. The Mets putting a whooping on Max Scherzer in an NL East showdown. Brandon Nimmo and Jeff McNeil getting big hits. The Nats pulling Mets blunders in the field. And loading up on enough sweet sweet insurance survival runs to hitting the point where they took out Seth Lugo for the Mop Up Crew before being forced to use Edwin Diaz before Edwin Diaz did what Edwin Diaz does, which is giving up longballs.
Add all of that up with there being mere weeks of the season left and you have The Big One that destroyed even the staunchest holdouts of the Scream Machine that is the 2019 Mets. Even my sweet Kyle who watched every inning of that masochistic bullshit in San Francisco had his soul ripped out for good.
Oh yeah and of course this happened in a start where Jacob deGrom was in line for a win. This stat is pretty much criminal in my mind and anyone who contributed to it should have their ass thrown in jail.
There will be plenty of more to talk about tomorrow when we record We Gotta Believe. I just hope my friend Frank takes it easy tonight and Mets fans avoid tall bridges. At least they got us to football season this year, right?
