#TBT To Miss Finland Putting A Professional Poker Player In A Blender With An All Time Bluff
A fun TBT to one of my favorite televised hands of all time. It was on a TV show called the “Shark Cage” and the object was to run a bluff on an opponent and then show it, thus sending them to the cage. Can’t really remember what the point of that was, but that’s neither here nor there. In this hand We have professional poker player Ronnie Bardah turning trip 4s against Sara, a former Miss Finland. It’s an incredible hand to watch, as you can see in the video below.
Ronnie was also a guest on this week’s Cracking Aces podcast because he is a contestant on the upcoming season of Survivor, starting next Wednesday. I’ve known Ronnie for a little bit now and think he’s going to CRUSH it on Survivor. He talked about how he prepped for the show, missing “you up?” texts while there, and his overall strategy going in. It was an awesome conversation, and I particularly enjoyed talking about the overarching strategy behind winning Survivor, and how similar it is to poker.
