Tekashi 6ix9ine Has Reportedly Signed A Record Deal Worth $10 Million From Prison
SOURCE - 6ix9ine has reportedly scored a record deal worth more than $10 million with his former label, 10K Projects. As TMZ writes, the controversial rapper will receive the money in exchange for two albums once he's released from prison. 10K Projects previously released his debut mixtape Day69. The details surrounding the rumored deal remain ambiguous, but it's been said that one of the projects will be in English while the other will be in Spanish. It's unclear what will happen to the deal if 6ix9ine is given a long sentence, as he's facing the possibility of 47 years behind bars. A rep for 10K Projects declined to comment. Earlier today it was reported by one source that some work had already gone into new music from 6ix9ine. "It looks like he will be making music right away when he comes home," an anonymous music industry source told Page Six. "He already contacted a young NYC producer, and someone purchased two beats for him." Last month a report indicated he was confident he'll be more popular than ever once he's released. 6ix9ine's sentencing date was originally set for Jan. 24, 2020, but it was brought forward earlier this week at the request of his legal team. "He's ready for the next stage," the rapper's attorney Lance Lazzaro told Complex. It is suspected he will receive a lighter sentence due to his cooperation with authorities. Music venues, however, have explained to Complex that it could be too risky to book the rapper when he is free. "Even before Tekashi 6ix9ine had problems, he really had limited access to most venues,” a spokesperson for NYC's S.O.B.'s explained. “There was always fear that trouble brewed when associated with him. I’m not saying he didn’t have access, but I’m saying it was limited way before any of this.”
AND THE SAGA CONTINUES!!!!!!!!
I don't think any human being in the history of mankind has been more hated, more stupid, more un likable and made more terrible decisions and STILL has come out on top……. for now. This is the biggest record deal in history signed by someone who was incarcerated.
I wrote a blog about the last report that Tekashi was planning to turn down the option of witness protection to continue his rap career. He was meme'd, m0cked and ridiculed at the idea that he could walk out of jail, not be in witness protection and live as regular a life as possible for someone in his 1 in a billion position. The conditions of him not taking witness protection were that he would have 24 hour security for him and his entire immediately family. I'm no lawyer so I have no fucking clue but that seems a lot of strong resources to be dedicated to fucking Tekashi 6ix9ine. On the other hand he did sing more that Marvin Gaye on the witness stand so who the hell really knows. Also even if he's not granted the full time security from the government I'm sure some of that $10 million can be allocated towards making sure Tekashi doesn't get his brains blown out. The more this story continues the more intriguing it gets. The early rumors are that he will be released from jail sometime in the early part of 2020. The early discussion was that we may never see or hear from him again yet now he will probably be out in a few months. INSANE.
Biggie would be turning over in his grave if he knew that rainbow head Tekashi was representing Brooklyn in todays rap game. Times sure have changed. Back in 1999 snitches get stitches. Now in 2019, snitches get the bag. It's a damn shame, but loyalty has gone completely out the window. The kids just don't care. All they wanna do is catch a vibe. The people that hate 6ix9ine aren't effecting his bottom line. They already didn't listen to him and they will continue not too. The kids who are listening to his music are 13-23 year old suburban white kids who would throw their best friend under the bus in a heart beat to stop them from getting a simple marijuana possession charge that's essentially the equivalent of the parking ticket. Those kids are gonna buy the shit out of these albums.
By the way, two albums for $10 Million is one hell of a fucking deal. It may be a big problem for him to make show money but I think he'll be just fine with that $10 Million. What a god damn world.
