Zoe Kravitz Cast As Selina Kyle/Catwoman In Robert Pattinson's 'BATMAN' Movie

Variety- “Big Little Lies” star Zoe Kravitz has been tapped to play Catwoman, the antiheroine and sometime love interest of the Caped Crusader, in Matt Reeves’ upcoming “The Batman.”

Kravitz will star opposite Robert Pattinson as Batman.

Pre-production on the Warner Bros.-DC Comics pic is expected to start this summer. No official start date has been set, although insiders tell Variety that filming could start in late 2019 or early 2020. “The Batman” is scheduled to hit theaters June 25, 2021.

YESSSSSS! This Matt Reeves/Robert Pattinson ‘Batman’ movie seemingly gets better and better by the day. I know I’m positive and optimistic about pretty much everything – ESPECIALLY comic book/superhero related – but c’mon…this is a fucking awesome casting. Zoe Kravitz has been one of my favorites for years, and she’s got the perfect amount of suaveness and sex appeal for Selina Kyle. Plus, you get into a little romance subplot with Battinson? Sheesh!

Couple hot-ass human beings right there. It’s gonna get steamy as fuck in all that latex/leather.

This will be the first time Catwoman is played by a woman of color since the 60’s, when Eartha Kitt donned the cat ears in the original ‘BATMAN’ television show starring Adam West and Burt Ward.
