Investigation: Are The Redskins Paying Actors To Pose As Fans With Really Lame Signs At Away Games? It Certainly Looks Like It.
I’m deep in an investigation right now. The above tweet came across my news desk yesterday and the conspiracies starting flying. And for good reason. Does that not look suspicious to you? Doesn’t something look a little off? Two attractive people, in Minnesota, holding ridiculously generic signs in the front row? The girl with the eye black, the guy with the wacky hat. And OUR YEAR? Could that POSSIBLY be real? Like, what sort of Redskins fan would make a sign that says “This Is Our Year!!”???? Laugh out loud funny.
So I got to work.
A popular theory was the signs are photoshopped, but that theory was disproved by this picture:

But then again, this person seems to think the Our Year one could in fact be shopped:
But I don’t think it matters if the signs are photoshopped or not. Because what I’m more interested in is if the Skins are paying actors/plants. It just doesn’t make sense. They are attractive, in the front row of a game in Minnesota, holding very generic Redskins signs and are featured on the team website? It seems…questionable. And let’s take a closer look:
The perfect hat, the eyeblack with the team logo on it? Doesn’t this all seem a bit cheesy? It looks like a stock photo of what they would want a Skins fan to look like. I’m just not buying it.
I tried reverse image searching both people and couldn’t get any hits. One person did say the man is possible this guy, an actor in Minnesota, though I cannot verify it
And the entire investigation aside, we’re just not idiots. OBVIOUSLY THOSE PEOPLE ARE FAKE! NOBODY MAKES THOSE SIGNS! AND THEN SITS IN THE FRONT ROW! AND GETS ON THE WEBSITE! THEY MADE AN “OUR YEAR” SIGN!!!!!!!!
Is this shocking to anyone? Of course not. The Redskins propaganda machine knows no bounds. I just love, LOVE the fact they didn’t think people would notice. In what world would we not notice? Bruce Allen is the fucking worst. The entire organization is the fucking worst.
