It Appears I May Have Been Incorrect On A Couple Things Regarding The Cleveland Browns
I was wrong. There's other way to put it. It took me about 8 months to finally see the light, but I was very, very wrong. Starting all the way back in March when we traded for Odell Beckham....
Yeah I got a little excited the next day...
Looking back, I don't think saying 12-4 at minimum was the most realistic prediction. But it only got worse from there. Here's how wrong I was, in chronological order....
Yikes. At 2-5, I still had the Browns winning the AFC North. But now, at 2-6, we're done. So here I am, on November 4th, admitting what you all have known for 20+ years. The Browns stink.
They tricked me. I thought this organization was going to be saved by a bunch of talkers. I thought hiring a brand new head coach with no previous experience was a great idea. I thought our quarterback that is now 2-10 against winning teams was one of the best in the league. I thought bringing in a diva wide reciever would only help the culture. I thought signing a domestic abuser at runningback was a good idea because this team was ready to win right now. I was wrong about everything.
Have your fun, folks. You all are soooooo smart. You knew that the Cleveland Browns, who are 97-230-1 and have had 11 different head coaches since we returned in 1999, would be bad. Bunch of Einsteins.
