An Investigation On Racing Wife Katelyn Larson's Shotgun At The NASCAR Awards

On October 6th, Kyle Larson's wife celebrated her husband's victory at Dover with a victory shotgun of Busch Light. It was a moment that showed what NASCAR is all about. A hot wife, Dover, and a shotgun of Busch Light. That's what America's all about. 

Fast forward to last night at the NASCAR Awards, where that moment was (sort of) recreated:

A great moment, except when you realized that Mrs. Larson worked us a little bit:

If that beer was full, Katelyn would've drank it, according to my stopwatch, in under 4 seconds. That would be an amazing accomplishment in of itself. 

Here's what I think happened. Katelyn knew this was going to be a part of the show, so she emptied out about 75% of the drink prior to the shotgun. Sad! There may have even been some beer left inside the can after, as we can see she carefully put it down once she was "finished" with the beer:

Final verdict: not a full shotgun. We were worked!

I can't blame Katelyn. She was in a phenomenal dress and didn't want any Busch Light on it. 

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter much. Rubbin is still racing.
