Obviously today has been a surreal day where it just feels weird doing anything but mourning the loss of a legend. I agreed with Greenie's blog saying it felt weird that the NBA was still playing these games after the news of the helicopter crash broke. But the other side of it is that athletes from basketball to soccer to football have been able to honor the memory of one of the most important sports figures of our lifetime in real time, along with the thousands of people in every crowd.

The more we hear about the story involving the crash as well as the reactions of those that knew Kobe come out, the more heartbreaking it gets. I cannot even begin to fathom what the Bryant family is feeling right now but my heart truly goes out to them during this nightmare.
