Kobe Talking About Practice Will Make You Want To Run Through A Brick Wall

Just a perfect reminder why he dominated the league for the better part of 2 decades. Not taking a day off. Talking shit about having a light practice. Beating his high school teammates 100-0 because he needed to exert himself. It's shit like this about Kobe that got so many people to feel this way:

Don't know if anyone could put it any better. He put his life behind his craft and inspired people to be the best versions of themselves, so much so that you could one day hope to be as good as him at something. Motivating people to embrace their own alpha and set high expectations. That's the type of shit people are going to remember about Kobe. More than the alley oop against the Kings and the 81 points against the Raptors and any of the championships. He'll be remembered for inspiring the next generation to be better than his, and at the end of the day, there's no doubt he achieved his goal. It just absolutely fucking sucks that we're talking about it now.

One thing that's made me feel better is going back and watching him dominate. He's on record that his proudest moment is repping team USA, and it's well established that the 2008 gold meadl games is one of the most vintage Kobe games of all time. So with that, enjoy:
