BREAKING: Iowa State Fair Announces There Will Be A "Field Of Dreams" Sculpture Made Out Of Butter This Year

DES MOINES, Iowa —Iowa State Fair officials said Wednesday that a butter “Field of Dreams” will be the feature butter sculpture alongside the Butter Cow this year. It’s the 25th anniversary of the “Field of Dreams” movie. The sculptures will be on display in the John Deere Agriculture Building during the “Amazingly Amusing” Fair on August 7-17. The butter sculptures will feature elements from America’s favorite past-time of baseball and the rural Iowa landscape, all in butter, fair officials said. Ohhhhh shiiiiit.  Big news coming out of the Iowa State Fair camp.  Not only will there be the infamous butter cow at this year’s fair (duh) and some of the deepest fried foods on the planet but there will also be a Field Of Dreams sculpture made out of butter too.  I don’t blame your head for exploding all over the room after reading that.  It’s a game changer really.  Butter sculptures are one of those things you didn’t know you needed to see until you see them.  They’re beautiful pieces of art.  It’s the Field Of Dreams 25th anniversary so they’re clearly pulling out all the stops for this one and I can’t blame them.  If you build it out of butter, they will come.  And by “they” I mean whoever wants to have the time of their life.  And you guys thought Iowa didn’t have sports?  Um think again.  Name another place where one of the most famous sports movies of all time will have a butter sculpture dedicated to it?  You mother fucking can’t.
