My Downstairs Neighbor Probably Thinks I'm A Psycho... But Ball Is Life
A couple of days ago I posted a video on my story of me trying to get some dribbling exercises in on the hardwood... of my living room. I got a lot of hate in my DM's.
To be fair, being in your 30's and bouncing a ball incessantly on the surface is very rude to those below you. But in the entire time I've been living here, I haven't heard a peep above me, not a footstep, not a clank, nothing. So part of me thought, "maybe they can't hear me".
With all of this time on my hands, and the burning desire to know whether I, in fact, am a terrible neighbor or, whether I can continue trying to get my handles up like Kyrie Irving, I decided to find out.
Some people are saying I'm crazy for going down there and asking. Others (my neighbor) have said I'm "super considerate". You can decide for yourself.
The funniest parts about this entire exchange were for sure:
1. Me knocking and running away to keep my six feet of distance
2. Her not even answering the door to keep her distance
3. The anxiety and alarm in my neighbor's voice when I asked if she could hear any noises above her. I think she low key thought I was bludgeoning someone upstairs. Nope just working on my behind the back crossover
