And BOOM! We have lift off on Super Troopers 2. That’s the American dream, folks. Be funny and make one of the funniest movies ever then raise enough money from strangers to film a sequel. It’s still insane that they had to go down this route, but I truly believe it’s for the better. And maybe the fact this got fully funded in one day will make some rich investor decide to fork over a few million to fund it even more. 2 million is hardly enough to shoot a movie, but if you’re like me and grew up watching this movie all the time, it’s just great news they are able to make another and have full creative control.
