For those from outside Chicago unfamiliar with Wiener Circle, you might remember them for the headlines they've made in the past for their brilliant Halloween costume - McDowells

And their very outspoken signs -

A trip to The Wiener Circle is a right of passage for every Chicago transplant. I left my first visit there shell shocked from the chocolate shake. I've taken almost all my friends from out of town there with no heads up and it's always guaranteed high comedy. And good food.

The char dogs and fries are legit. (One of the few places that cook the fries well done by default without overcooking them).

p.s.- I attempted to take Pres there back when he came to town for the Big Ten Championship Michigan vs. Wisconsin game but him and Dan were on a strict burrito and pizza only diet at the time.
