I didn't want to use this after I look at what was number 1. No disrespect to Clem or Bruno Mars, but there's a clear No. 1 answer here. 

A song that every single person likes. You say you don't like Call Me Maybe, you're a liar. It was supposed to just be a summer song, but it became THE song of the summer. It took over an entire year. You couldn't go to a bar without hearing it multiple times. There are cover bands playing it.
