STARKVILLE – Mississippi State revealed commemorative adidas warmups after Thursday’s baseball practice. It included a message for Ole Miss.

The neon dots on the shirts line up to create phrases. One of the phrases, in orange, spells “F–K The School Up North.” Others phrases include “Hail State,” “Dudy Noble” “Starkvegas” and “Left Field Lounge.”

Adidas took full responsibility later Thursday night.

“We apologize to Mississippi State, their student-athletes, fans and alumni for this error,” adidas said in a statement to the Clarion-Ledger. “The Bulldogs’ baselayer graphic today featured old artwork that was never presented to the university. This graphic does not reflect our brand values nor those of Mississippi State. We take full responsibility for this error and wish Mississippi State the best of luck during Super Bulldog Weekend.”

Oh please. Think these college baseball bros have never seen the F word or something? That they’ve never trash talked each other? It’s freaking Super Bulldog Weekend. If Fuck the Team Up North is the worst thing they see or hear all week it’ll be the nicest tamest thing that’s ever happened in college sports. Hey AD we don’t need a heartfelt Twitter apology dude, we’re all grown ups.
