Saw this tweet on Sunday night and expected way more admiration for White Sox Dave's 5 o'clock shadow.

I mean look at this.

That's with #NOFILTER!

It flat out doesn't get the respect it deserves.

In fact, it draws a lot of hate from a lot of people that are jealous of it.

Like one of history's all-time great h8er's Smitty.

The same Smitty that took the original pic and replaced it with the altered version to make Dave basically look like this guy -

That picture was grossly embellished, as Dave informed everybody in his rebuttal blog.

So back to Sunday night. When I saw that tweet from the redline account with Marty I was SHOCKED to see Smitty hadn't piled on.

For how much attention Dave's shadow got from the pic from the Chicago office dinner at La Scarola (Top 2 Italian joint in Chicago) to not really a peep now does it mean people are finally coming to their senses and realizing how awesome Dave's facial hair game is?

That one is NOT exaggerated in photoshop. It's just naturally magnificent.

The only thing hotter than White Sox Dave's takes the past 5 months has been his facial hair game.

So hot in fact that I would venture to say he deserves to be mentioned in the best 5 o'clock shadows of all-time discussion.
