Quick reminder...this was Mike the last time he was on Rogan...
That was one year ago before he started training. Here he is today…
Cut the fuck up. But that's only a small part of this story. I watched all two hours of the episode and I can honestly say it's unlike any other Tyson interview I've ever heard. Why? Because it doesn't rehash the same old stories about his past that we've heard a thousand times before- it focuses on the future. (Among other things, obviously.) If you don't have time to watch the whole thing check out the first fifteen minutes on why he started training again. Spoiler alert it's because his wife thought he was fat. Next thing you know he's in there two hours a day, started fielding calls about potential opponents, and the rest is history. Although the coolest part for me was when he started talking about the mental transformation of getting into fighting shape. How it takes a psycological toll and the guys who beat him up in the gym could never do it in a ring because they can't handle the lights. I'm already giving away too much. Just go watch it.
Have a great weekend. Oh and here's a video of him training five days ago…
November 28th can't come soon enough.
