The NCAA Finally Did A Smart Thing And Told Coach K His All-Inclusive Tournament Was The Dumbest Idea In The History Of Ideas

I can’t believe I’m saying this but shout out the NCAA for being smart. Coach K convinced the ACC to sign off on this stupid ass all-inclusive NCAA Tournament where every single team makes it.

It’s not even hyperbole. It was the dumbest idea in the history of ideas. We already have an all-inclusive NCAA Tournament. It’s called the regular season and conference tournament. Don’t suck and you make the NCAA Tournament. Everyone has a shot at that.

The whole plan for this was make the NCAA say no to Coach K since they refuse to investigate or punish Duke. Not a bad strategy based on the history of the NCAA turning a blind eye to Coach K’s actions. But this was a quicker no than most of you get at a bar. I love it. The NCAA finally had a backbone. 

Now let’s start setting up the bubbles and getting the schedule figured out so we have a season. I’m going to save this college hoops season if it’s the last thing I ever do.
