Video From Inside Arrowhead Shows Majority Of Chiefs Fans May Not Have Been Booing During Moment Of Unity
The big topic of last night and into today was the apparent booing by Chiefs fans during the Texans-Chiefs moment of unity before kickoff. Crowd noise heard through the TV broadcast can be a bit deceiving, but I, like others, thought I heard boos.
After seeing this video, I am a bit more confused with what happened in the crowd during the moment of unity:
Chiefs fans were getting a bad wrap this morning because of the "boos" that were being reported. Were they boo's or was it "Chieffffssssss?" I'm not sure. I do know at the end of the video the overwhelming sound is of cheers/claps after the moment of unity. Was that because the game was about to start or was it celebrating the moment? Probably a bit of both. Another thing I'm sure of after watching this video is that the entire stadium wasn't booing.
Were their boo's during the moment of unity? Yes. There was 20,000 people there last night, so just by the numbers, there were a few assholes in Arrowhead. Here's an example of one of those assholes:
