#FactsOnly: We Now Have A Stat Proves That Kentucky Football Is The Most Underrated Team In The SEC Since Mark Stoops Became Head Coach
[CBS] - (+9) The Wildcats have not disappointed in any season since conference expansion. In fact, they've gained seven points over the last three seasons, including the two points they gained last year with a fourth-place finish. Their second-place finish in 2018 resulted in three more points. Simply put ... never sleep on the Wildcats.
I've always said stats are the most true statements out there and this is the most honest one yet. CBS went and looked at predictions at media day for each season of the last 8 years and then where teams ended up at the end of the year in the standings. And, well, would you look at who is the most underrated team with the best success in that stance in the SEC? The same SEC that's the best conference in America.
Oh, that's right.

America's darling. THE Kentucky Wildcats football team. Gotta admit, it's really not that shocking. People keep sleeping on Kentucky and all they do is win games. They've been to a bowl game every year since 2016. They had a 10-win year. They've finished second in the SEC East two of the last four years. Simply put, this is a decent football program thanks to Mark Stoops and Vince Morrow. Since Stoops took over he's 5-2 against South Carolina, 5-2 against Missouri, 5-2 against Vanderbilt and even ended the streak against Florida. Simply put he's beating teams he's supposed to and turned Kentucky into a more consistent program than South Carolina and Missouri. Next up is beating Florida and Tennessee more. It'll happen, I'm sure of it.
Simply put if you sleep on Kentucky you're a fool. Again, numbers never lie. #FactsOnly
