Where the crutches at bro?!  Here’s something about me.  I have a really hard time seeing a person as anything else once I watch them on a TV show I love.  I’m sure a lot of people are like that with actors from their favorite shows.  It’s why when I see any actor from The Wire on a light bulb commercial or SVU or CSI or Law and Order or Game of Thrones or Boardwalk Empire I refer to them by their Wire names.  Chalky White? Nah, that’s that shotgun-toting, Honey Nut Cheerio-eating, Newport-smoking homosexual Omar Little who used to love the myths.  Petyr Baelish? No sir.  That’s the hungry, up-and-coming politician with swagger Tommy Carcetti who still wakes up white in a city that ain’t.  Michael B. Jordan? No idea who that is but I know who Wallace is even if I don’t know where he is.  Walter White Jr. fits into that category.  If he’s gonna be a runway model then I need him up there with the crutches. Because that’s how I see him anyway.  I watched him for 5 seasons.  There’s no way my brain is just gonna flip the switch and say, “Okay, let’s take him seriously as a model now.”  Nope.

The most obvious TV character who falls into this category is George Costanaza.  Being the best sitcom character in history was the worst thing that could’ve happened to post-Seinfeld Jason Alexander. He’ll always be George Costanza.  To everyone. And Walter White Jr. will always be Walter White Jr.  I legit have no idea what his real name is.
