Lil Wayne Could Get 10 Years In Prison For Having a Golden Gun And Weed On His Private Plane...Unless......

Complex - Lil Wayne has received a federal weapons charge in connection with a December 2019 plane search in Florida.

Per TMZ, who reported on the charge on Tuesday afternoon, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida has charged Weezy with one count of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon. If convicted, the sentence could be as high as 10 years. A court appearance is slated for December. 

With the plane's search, which occurred ahead of its final stop in California, Miami-Dade police were acting on what the Miami Herald said at the time was "a tip about weapons and marijuana." Federal agents were alerted in order to secure a search warrant to give the private plane a look at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport.

I have a take- the entire point of being rich and flying private is so you can do whatever you want on the plane. You pay the pilots a little extra on top to shut the cockpit door and get you from point A to point B, no questions asked. You pay as much as you need to get the plane cleaned top to bottom. No snitches allowed. But somehow, this fell through for Weezy and there was a "tip about weapons and marijuana" on the plane. Uhhhhh, ya think? It's Lil Wayne's plane, not sure it takes Sherlock Holmes to get to the bottom of that one. 

And now our friend Lil Wayne is facing 10 years in prison. Not great! But he does have one thing going for him.....

Wayne playing the long game here, one of the all time smartest moves ever. Wouldn't be shocked if he shot a PSA for the Biden campaign tomorrow. Just playing all sides of this thing.

And not for nothing, the weapon he was charged with having is fucking awesome.

In a statement Complex on Tuesday, Weezy's attorney Howard Srebnick explained that his client has been charged for "possessing a gold-plated handgun" in his luggage while traveling on the plane.

What are you going to do, not bring your golden gun on your private plane? He should use it for whoever snitched on him to begin with. Weezy F Baby the F is for Fuck no I'm not going to jail!
