James Harden Gave Rapper Lil Baby $300,000 Worth Of Gifts For His Birthday Including a Prada Bag Filled With Honey Buns and $100,000 In Cash
Is...is this just what rich people do? I guess considering James Harden makes $43 million a year this is simply a drop in the bucket to him, but still, the idea that he gives birthday presents like this at all is baffling to me. I don't think I've gotten a birthday present since like, 6th grade? The best birthday present I got this year was a bag of Peanut M&Ms from John Feitelberg. It was a delight. I would never want anything more, because I pretty much have everything I need in life. Which begs the question- is this rude of James Harden? Is giving another grown man $100,000 and a watch a very rich person way of stunting on them? Is he saying to Lil Baby "I am wildly more rich than you, here, have my ashtray money"? That's what it looks like to me. Like if Dave Portnoy were to gift me $100,000, it would 100% be because he can and he wants me to know he's rich and I'm poor. You don't give $100,000 to someone who you don't think could use $100,000. So in a way, Lil Baby should feel offended here. James Harden is taking pity on him. The honey buns are a nice touch though, can't deny that.
