FSU Head Coach Just Had To Ask Florida If They Wanted To Keep Playing After Keyontae Johnson (SEC POY) Collapsed On The Court Mid-Game
Absolutely terrifying situation right now down in Florida. Keyontae Johnson, the preseason SEC Player of the Year, collapsed on the floor coming out of a timeout. It was not long after this play:
I'll be honest. I have no idea how Florida is playing right now. You can see how shaken up they all are and rightfully so. You see a teammate collapse on the ground and have to be stretchered off, you don't just bounce back from that. They didn't delay the game at all. There was hardly a pause. Somehow, Florida has an 8-point lead as I write this.
Even as this game is going on, Florida head coach Mike White has had his head down, hands collapsed like he's praying on the sidelines. Florida made the decision to play:

Good on Leonard Hamilton for asking the question. Sure, you could sit there and say nothing and just wait for the refs or anyone like that to make the decision. But Hamilton went and made sure the kids from Florida still wanted to play. Just a terrifying scene and we don't really have an update on Johnson.
