Deion Sanders Flipped a Four-Star Cornerback From Georgia to Jackson State
It isn't just the FBS teams making big waves on National Signing Day. New Jackson State head coach and Barstool Sports co-worker of mine Deion Sanders flipped the No. 2 overall JUCO player in the country from Georgia to JSU on Wednesday.
De'Jahn Warren had offers from UGA, Alabama, Auburn, Florida and a host of others before originally committing to the Bulldogs in August. But in the end, he's going to Jackson State to play for Coach Prime. And you only have to turn on the film for a minute and it becomes clear why Warren is right up there as arguably the best JUCO player in this class.
With Warren and fellow four-star — and Deion's son — Shedeur Sanders, Jackson State has easily the No. 1 class in the SWAC and the No. 121 overall class in the country, ahead of a handful of FBS teams including Western Kentucky, Middle Tennessee State and Tulsa. Deion's other son Shilo also announced Wednesday he is transferring from South Carolina to play for his dad at Jackson State. Coach Prime is making moves.
We're all rooting for the Tigers to do big things in the years to come and if this first recruiting class is any indication, Deion is going to have that program clicking on all cylinders in no time.
