WATCH: Mississippi State And Tulsa Had Themselves A Serious Brawl After Their Bowl Game
Bowl games don't matter? Tell that to Mississippi State and Tulsa who now officially hate each other after fighting it out after the Armed Forces Bowl this afternoon.
The two of these teams were chippy all afternoon. Before the game, they had a little bit of a scuffle.
There were multiple unsportsmanlike conduct penalties throughout the game. PLayers throwing the ball at each other after the play was blown dead. These two teams did NOT like each other. The announcers made that clear multiple times. The game ended, we went to the post-game and then boom we were right back to the Armed Forces BOwl to watch a legit brawl.
#4 with an all time scummy move, kicking a Tulsa player in the face when he was on the ground and then IMMEDIATELY running away.
Not far behind was #9, who couldn't dress for the game today, but was healthy enough to fight?

The guy that was kicked in the head was taken off the field like he just fought a 12-round fight….hopes he's okay. The announcer mentioned he was having trouble breathing?
When Leach was asked about it? He didn't seem to care much.
That's the first real fight I've seen on the football field in a long time. There may be scuffles here and there, especially before the game, but these two teams went AT it. The ESPN post game show was mentioning potential criminal charges? That would be insane, but I guess it's possible? I'm sure suspensions wll come out, especially for #4 Malik Heath and #9 De'Monte Russell, who both happened to grow up in the same town: Jackson Mississippi.
