People Are Trying To Say Patrick Mahomes Threw The Chiefs Under The Bus After Losing The Super Bowl ... Those People Are Wrong

So this has been floating around the last day or so and the common thing I've seen is people saying 'imagine if any other quarterback said this' or 'you can't throw a team under the bus.' Seriously, just read the replies, Twitter search or read the quoted retweets on that. It's everywhere and I'm not going to put them all in the blog. Let me just say this.

Uhh, what the fuck? We watched the Super Bowl, right? The one where Patrick Mahomes was running for his life on every single play. It's not throwing a team under the bus when he takes blame and talks about how everyone wasn't on the same page. That's a normal fucking answer. Hell, it's the correct answer. He scrambled for 497 yards. FOUR HUNDRED AND NINTEY SEVEN YARDS. Yeah, you can be a bit frustrated when every time you take a snap you got the entire Bucs from 7 in your grill.

Yeah, Mahomes wasn't good. But it all goes hand in hand. He had about a 50% completion rate, threw for 270 and 2 picks.

Not to mention there were three massive dropped passes by Chiefs receivers. I'm not sitting here saying Mahomes doesn't deserve blame, but his answer is spot on. Trying to compare it to Peyton Manning's kicker quote is fucking bananas.

Saying a 'drunken, idiot kicker' vs saying the offensive line let some pressure is completely different. It's not even close. Not to mention, again, Mahomes took blame too. He wasn't saying he played great. He wasn't saying it wasn't on him. The Chiefs got their ass kicked plain and simple. Again, we want guys to give honest answers, let's stop trying to say every fucking thing is throwing someone under the bus.
