I've Been On A Full Blown BBC Earth Kick & I Need To Share Some Of It With You
So the other night I was having a nice little casual hangout with a few of my pals, enjoying some college basketball & UFC fights, as someone mentioned the sheer mass of bald eagles. I was instantly intrigued, yet the intrigue increased when he began babbling on about how much of assholes bald eagles can be. I don't care if you're the bird of America, no way around it- throwing innocent mountain goats off the side of mountains is a scumbag move.
So of course the next day I found myself deep into a rabbit hole of nature videos...specifically BBC Earth's videos (as our bullshit PBS pails in comparison to them) & it's simply too fascinating not to blog. I see cool shit and I MUST share it with my people-that's just the type of guy I am.
This is the most viewed video on BBC Earth's account. A nice group of Langur Monkeys mistake a fake monkey for a dead monkey...and what do they do? THROW IT A FUCKING FUNERAL! For a monkey they didn't even know! Just a random! How cute is that shit? There's a reason 102 million people viewed that beautiful service of Mr. Spy Monkey.
The next one up is a Mama Tiger birthing 2 beautiful baby boys…Stripe & Spot. I barely know anything about human birth, so Tiger birth was nothing short of EYE-OPENING to watch. Could get a little gross when the boys pop out-but well worth the watch to culture yourself in the art of Tiger labor.
Now if this video doesn't make you tear up you have a heart of stone… Like literal, actual stone. The rollercoaster of emotions going up & down over whether this real-life version of Lion King will result in those loser hyenas taking down the big man finally ends once his pal comes to help. Those buddies just playing & hugging with each other after a W is BEAUTIFUL

I don't have much to say on the gorillas fucking, but absolutely eye-opening to see that the big ole silverback actually gets jealous just look like a human would if his lady friend was banging another guy! Fucking love gorillas…They're the best.
And the final & most preposterous video BBC has to offer. I tuned into this video thinking how insane this is gonna be when the chick jumps off a cliff & flies in mid-air for the first time. Clearly that was NOT the case…not the case AT ALL. That fella surviving was more unlikely than Bartolo Colon hitting an inside-the-park homerun, yet here we are. Truly a shocking video.
