I Have No Idea Why SlamBall Is Trending Here In 2021, But I Do Know Slamball Was Fucking Awesome And Ahead Of Its Time
It's a Monday morning, there's not a lot going on in the Internet streets right now. So I do what every normal blogger and American would do. I checked to see what was trending on Twitter. What did I miss? That's when I see this. Slamball is trending. Why? I have no fucking clue. Couldn't begin to guess why, besides the fact that Slamball is fucking awesome.

Just one of the best ideas we ever had as humans. Slamball was must watch when the league started in 2002 with Rumble, Diablos, Bouncers, Steal, Mob and Slashers - just incredible team names. Also shout out Coach Carter, who was the coach for the Rumble that first season. I always forget just how massive some of the hits were during Slamball.
I also can't believe people were pulling up for long twos in this sport. It's Slamball! Why the fuck would anyone ever sit there and try to shoot a jumper? You have a trampoline at your disposal. Take advantage of it. I want to bring Slamball back more than anything. That and American Gladiators and Guts. Feel like we can do that with Barstool. I'd kill to be a coach - no thank you to getting hit like some of those players.
It's shocking this only lasted three season. SlamBall and Dippin Dots, the sport and ice cream of the future.
