Army Commanders Disciplined For Watching Some Polish Women On Poles (Strippers) And Getting Drugged, Lost, and Thus UA
STUTTGART, Germany — A U.S. Army Apache helicopter unit’s planned visit to World War II sites in Poland devolved into a drunken escapade at an off-limits strip club, leading to the suspected drugging of a battalion executive officer who went missing and wasn’t found until the next day, an Army investigation found.
The incident involving the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade’s “No Mercy” battalion during its recent deployment to Europe now has multiple officers facing the possible end of their military careers.
“The command took immediate and appropriate adverse action against the leaders involved,” Col. Joseph Buccino, spokesman for the 18th Airborne Corps, said in a statement. “Some officers are facing further administrative actions to determine whether they will continue to serve in the Army.”
A command investigation report obtained by Stars and Stripes details how taxpayer dollars were spent on a trip that was supposed to be about improving “unit cohesion and morale,” but ended in scandal as rumors of the battalion’s deeds swirled through the brigade in the months that followed.
Strip clubs and tattoo parlors are absolutely part of military culture. Men. Women. Everyone goes to strip clubs. It doesn’t matter if you like seeing titties and cocks swaying about in the wind of the rafters, you go. You go for morale. You go because it’s just what you do. HOWEVER, you know it’s risky because you might end up drugged and out of the Army if you don’t pay attention to your surroundings.
That’s what happened here because these soldiers forgot the golden rule of titty hawkin. You cannot, under any circumstances, mix strip clubs, booze, and karaoke. You can do two of the three but NEVER three out of three. Wanna booze and sing? Fine. Sing and titty hawk? Ok. Hawk and booze? Yes. All three? No. Never. If you do, you are just aiming for administrative action.
Now, people are upset because this is being seen as a waste of tax payer dollars. If that’s you, kindly shut the fuck up. 13 grand for a night of unit strip club goofin is NOTHING. 13k of tax payer money is nothing. It’s a few ash trays. For real.
As far as the punishment goes, I’m torn. On one hand, you can’t control when something gets put in your drink but as a major, this guy should know about the never all three rule. I think it’s a pure example of the perceived invincibility complex that plagues so many young troops. I think this can and will serve as an example to those who serve.
Traditions matter and that’s why my favorite and most cherished tradition simply says:
Look at as many polish sweater puppies you want, BUT, keep your head firmly on your shoulders and don’t forget your training no matter how perfect those Slovakian nipples might be.
