I Wouldn't Wish Not Being Able To Move Your Neck On My Worst Enemy
That headline could not be more true if it tried. I truly would not wish having the neck pains I've been experiencing since I got home from the #BarstoolVsAmerica on my worst enemy. Not on my future hawaiian shirt competitors. Not on Islanders fans. Not even on BBQ Twitter. None of them...the journey that these neck pains has been is truly too much. I believe I did it a few days ago sleeping on the RV Couch with a massive crease in it before we did our INSANE final challenge of the trip the next day and when I'm talking insane I mean INSANE. Like truly have never been more winded in my life and that's coming from an extremely out-of-shape person that once tried out for freshman football. So I think that combined with an already screwed up body did the trick.
The only odd part though my body still hurt, but felt good enough to go out both Friday & Saturday nights before waking up Sunday and literally not even being able to get out of bed. I did some icy hot and advils throughout Sunday before it got REAL BAD Sunday and literally didn't sleep a lick Sunday night. Alternated between my bed and couches with multiple different pillow setups for hours to no avail. It was a real tough look. This was literally my posture all day yesterday.
THANKFULLY the wonderful Chiropractor that was recently on Lowering the Bar to crack some backs around these parts noticed the stories on Instagram & offered to slide me in later at this office in Midtown.
It was my first ever trip the Chiropractor and actually quite fun. Did a couple neck exercises before hopping in the X-RAY room for some, you guessed it, X-RAY'S and let me tell ya…my neckbones were FUCKED UP. Like Crazy Eyes from Mr. Deeds fucked up. Luckily Dr. Kearn went into berserker mode and cracked the fuck out of my neck & spine. Felt odd, yet absolutely not painful, before sending my ass to one of those STEM tables. Thank fucking God for him because there was a 0% chance I could've fallen asleep again feeling like I did yesterday afternoon. It absolutely still hurts and I'm going back today so updates to follow. Need that neck 100%. Need it.
