Chef Remains The Most Delicious Looking Movie Ever Made

A movie more delicious than 'Chef' simply does not exist.

There are movies with great food scenes, plenty of them, but no movie is better top to bottom than this food movie (94/100 from me and streaming now on Netflix) from Jon Favreau. One of the best scenes in the movie was the barbecue scene at Franklin Barbecue in my hometown of Austin, Texas...

My inspiration for this random blog about an older movie is the fact I came home for a wedding and dabbled in the (formerly) hard-to-get Franklin's...

Fucking incredible, by the way. Just look at that damn brisket, holy fuck.

But the scene that I think gets everybody going (though, my favorite is the Cubano scene) has to be the grilled cheese scene.

Taking something so simple, such as grilled cheese, and turning it into food porn is basically a shortcut to having people's mouths water. It just looks so fucking delicious. And if you've tried to elevate your grilled cheese at home like in the movie 'Chef', you know it is worth all of the effort.

Even the scene where he makes the food that Dustin Hoffman restaurant manager hates looks amazing…

Stupid Dustin Hoffman restaurant manager, that shit looks amazing!

Anyway, if you haven't seen 'Chef', you should change that immediately. There is no movie in the world that I would recommend to anyone more than 'Chef'. If anyone tells you they don't like the movie, they're insane. Movies are subjective, yes, but no person can sit there, with a straight face, and tell you they disliked this delicious movie.
