[The Sun] - The 34-year-old was handed a tissue by his wife Antonela Roccuzzo as he broke down in tears while announcing his Barca exit. 

She said: "I bid $600,000 [£438,000] to get the Messi handkerchief gone, after that the ad disappeared.

"I gave more than half the advertised amount believing I would win, but the ad disappeared after my bid, out of nowhere.It's not yet clear whether Brazilian beauty Sandien has been successful in her bid for the handkerchief, which she plans to 'pose naked' with if the offer is accepted.

I'm sorry, but she doesn't know if the offer was accepted? Whoever is in control of this bid understands content right? If not, read the blog and figure it out. How does she not win? $600,000 for a used handkerchief is an absurd dollar amount to begin with and it's only going to hold value if she poses naked with it. That's called value. That's called a smart investment. What else is someone going to do with this thing? Frame it and hang it because they have too much money? Nobody wants that story. Everyone wants to see the Playboy Model pose naked with it. Hell she even has a history of being successful with this stuff. 

She has appeared on the cover of Playboy Africa posing in a Barcelona shirt, with sales of the magazine up a reported 50% as a result of her Barcelona outfit.

You slap Messi's handkerchief on there and you're looking at a smooth 60% minimum uptick. The looks may help too.
