As We Anxiously Await Him Dropping His New Album, What Is The Best Drake Feature Of All Time?
Before we get into it, if you're not following Barstool Backstage on social media yet, stop what you're doing and kindly do so now.
That will ensure you don't continue to miss out on the burning topics of major importance we debate on a regular basis, such as this one we proposed yesterday.
Much like Kanye's new album, we have been anxiously awaiting the release of Drake's Certified Lover Boy for months now. (Though not with being subjected to half the dramatics or theatrics of Kanye).
It's been done for months now (allegedly), and on August 10th Lebron teased that it was done and coming, to which Drake responded with a bunch of emoji's
The album was supposed to drop back in January but Drake was rehabbing a knee injury. No really.
Before that even, Drake's "Wizard of Oz" Noah ‘40’ Shebib, who produces all of Drake's smahses, teased that Certified Lover Boy's in an appearance on Kevin Durant's ETCS podcast. The album was "ready to go" back in October 2020, apparently, and 40 explained that the album would deliver all "different types of Drake music." (Sidebar - Kevin Durant has a podcast?)
Either way, we've been waiting our dicks off for this thing and it's still not here. And worst part is there aren't any signs its anywhere close.
So let's debate what we do have shall we?
Drake has been featured on a zillion tracks (over 80 to be exact). So what is his best?
We got some great responses to the question on social media. Here's my list.

Nicki Minaj Featuring Drake
Chick song sure, but fire verse over a fire beat nonetheless.
19- "Yes Indeed"

Preme Featuring Drake and Future
One of the best sad boy Drake verses in his catalog.

You could argue that it was this verse, on this remix to the bubbling original hit that put Migos on the map.

French Montana Feat. Drake, Rick Ross & Lil Wayne
One of the best party songs ever. Definitely one of the greatest strip club anthems ever.
12- “Tuesday”

Kendrick Lamar Featuring Drake
Backed by a fire 90s-RnB sample from Janet Jackson this song is an absolute powerhouse.

Meek Mill Featuring Drake
Drake is such a swell guy that he gifted Meek Mill, his once fierce rival, with one of his best verses of 2018 on their reunion collaboration, “Going Bad.”
09- "Blessings"
Big Sean Featuring Drake and Kanye West
Drake blessed Big Sean with a massive verse on ‘Blessings’ and took the opportunity to address his feud with his record label.
“I ain’t gonna say that we back or nothing, because that implies that we’re back from something/ If we back from something its those cheques you owe us/ I expect that payment nothing less or over”
08- "I'm on One"
DJ Khaled Featuring Drake, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne
07 - “Aston Martin Music”
Rick Ross Feat. Drake & Chrisette Michelle
Two weeks after the official version of “Aston Martin Music” was released to radio in the Summer of 2010, an extended version featuring this very lengthy rap verse from Drake leaked onto the internet. Immediately, it became the only version worth listening to.

2 Chainz Featuring Drake
2012 this song came out which is nuts. With an absolutely contagious hook and Drake's instantly-quotable verse, this banger was inescapable that entire summer.

Rick Ross Featuring Drake and French Montana
03- "My Way (Remix)"
Fetty Wap Featuring Drake

01- "Right Above It"
Lil Wayne Feat Drake
Just an unbelievable song that has stood the test of time and still goes off today. Thanks to incredible production courtesy of Kane Beatz, (incredible horns!) Drake, delivered a career-defining guest verse on "Right Above It" that marks the moment the torch was passed between the Young Money President and his protégé.
