An Alleged Early Test Screening For 'The Batman' With Robert Pattinson Describes It As A Horror Movie That Is Very Dark, Graphic, And Scary Which Sounds Incredible

I have to admit, when I originally found out they were remaking Batman I wasn't really into it. I loved the Christopher Nolan movies so much that I didn't think those could possibly be topped, only ruined. That's a tall mountain to climb no question, but with the early word from the initial screenings for The Batman have been unreal.

A little over a year ago we got our first idea of what to expect with this initial trailer.

Supposedly almost none of the film had been made yet and they were able to gather that footage together which is nuts. Awesome trailer.

After radio silence for a year we now have this fella on the internet who knows someone that has seen a cut of the film. Sure that obviously doesn't sound the most credible, but from what I see the reddit forums and other news outlets are taking it pretty legitimately. No real spoilers here, but if you wanna go into The Batman not knowing anything this might not be for you.

If there's one way for this to truly separate itself from the Nolan/Bale movies it has to get dark. REALLY dark. No word yet if they're going Rated R, but if they do I'll jump off my couch and sprint to the theaters. This guy is saying graphic, dark, and scary. All in for that. Polar opposite from the Nolan films. He also says the cut was 3 hours long. Now I can't imagine it stays that way. Realistically we're looking at 2-2.5 hours max I think, but I've never been one to complain about a batman moving going long.

Early reviews on Zoe Kravtiz as Catwoman? Out of this world. I don't know how good she could have possibly been to get this dude to say these things but I'm sure here for it.

The batmobile from the trailer looked sick and apparently it stays that way in the movies. If you mess up the batmobile I'll walk out plain and simple. When making this film you need to figure out how you're going to do the batmobile before even considering who the batman is going to be. Very important in this idiot's eyes.

And then there's a scene at the end that will leave you on the floor speechless. Almost wish I didn't know that so I'm not waiting for it and guessing the whole time.

Bottomline, if there wasn't enough hype around this movie before then there sure is now. This is the kind of movie you have to see in theaters. Nothing like the hype around a Batman movie as you head to the theaters. March 4th of next year I'm there. Pretty nuts this and Doctor Stranger and the Multiverse of Madness are coming out in the same month.
