Find me another college football program in the country where you'll have Gillie Da Kid getting unsportsmanlike conduct penalties because he's escorting you down the sideline into the end zone and spiking the football. I'll wait.
I would say this was maybe the most worthwhile penalty of all-time were it not for the fact that this pass was actually ruled incomplete and the touchdown was taken off the board, so Gillie's celebration penalty wasn't assessed on the kickoff, but rather gave Florida A&M half the distance to the goal. But all's well that ends well, because our Tigers defense stepped up and forced a field goal and only allowed three more points in the game en route to a 7-6 victory to open the 2021 season.
I hope we see a Barstool personality spiking the ball after a touchdown in every game this season. Hell, make Coach Prime's adopted son Glenny Balls the designated touchdown spiker. That would be worth 15 yards every single time.
