EDDIE ROSARIO WALKS IT OFF FOR THE BRAVES AGAIN AND ATLANTA HAS A 2-0 LEAD IN THE NLCS
THIS. FUCKING. TEAM.
For the second night in a row, the Atlanta Braves delivered a walk-off win to take a 2-0 lead over the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS. This one came from Eddie Rosario, which couldn't be a more perfect encapsulation of this Braves season. Rosario was acquired for the ghost of Pablo Sandoval — who was released by the Indians the same day they traded for him — and just put the Braves within two wins of the World Series.
This time just feels different. And if everyone is being honest, this Braves team isn't as good as the one which blew a 3-1 lead to the Dodgers last year and this LA team is better. But something just feels different this time. These Braves have "it", whatever it is.
And while Rosario delivered the knockout blow, it was Austin Riley again tonight who put Atlanta in a position to be able to win the game. This guy has played out of his mind since June and has kept that going in the Postseason.
I'm absolutely in love with this baseball team. Now it's time to go to Dodger Stadium and exorcise the rest of these demons. Let's ride.
