The Titans' Defense Pull Out A MASSIVE Goal Line Stand To Beat The Bills In A Thriller On Monday Night Football
I need a cigarette after that. Holy moly that was a wild ride. Titans - Bills on Monday night started out SLOPPY but gave us a fantastic finish. It was the Derrick Henry show for the Titans, it's always the Derrick Henry show for the Titans.
In classic Henry fashion he ripped off this 76-yarder leaving every Buffalo Bill in the dust, no one had a chance to get him. That's just what he does. It was the fastest run by ANYONE in the NFL this season and the fastest run of Henry's career at 21.80 MPH. A guy that big shouldn't be that fast, it's just not fair. Sucks for the guys who have to try and tackle him though. Another unreal night for the King. 20 carries for 143 and three touchdowns. Want to see his rushing yards the last 5 games?

Unreal production from him. And they needed it because in the first half Ryan Tannehill was not good. He found a groove with AJ Brown in the second half and thank god he did because I was SHOCKED that Julio Jones left the game with a hamstring injury. Shocked I tell you. Tannehill ended up going 18-29 for 216, a pick and a rushing touchdown. Played much better in the second half once the run was established and Henry was gashing the defense. Hit them with some play action and Brown was wide open to run. Obviously it came down to the defense having to stop Josh Allen which is a tough task. They couldn't stop a nosebleed all game, had 43 cornerbacks get hurt and were addicted to getting called for pass interference.
After Henry's third TD the Bills got a kickoff return called back due to holding but the Bills drove right down the field to get in scoring position. Vrabel and the Titans were basically begging the Bills to kick a FG to go to OT. Allen scrambled on third down and ended up a half yard short and you have to respect the call to go for the 1st instead of kicking the tying field goal.
Allen goes for the QB sneak on fourth and inches and he slips and is STUFFED by big Jeffrey Simmons. Ballgame. It was an unreal defensive stand against one of the best offenses in football and maybe the MVP leader. They trusted their offense but the defense just showed up and held their ground. Wasn't even close either. The Titans D comes up huge in a much needed win to push the Titans to 4-2.

We have to give a shoutout and well wishes to the boy, Taylor Lewan. Lewan looked to trip over the pile and went head first into a Bills player and went motionless for several minutes. It was a terrifying scene that ended with Lewan being loaded onto the cart and taken of. He gave the crowd a thumbs up and it was reported that he has movement in all extremities but was being looked at for a concussion. A terrifying scene for all involved but it looks like he'll be okay. A huge, emotional win for this club that saw one of it's leaders being taken off on a cart. Love you, Lewan. Love you, Vrabes. LOVE YOU DERRICK.
