The Layout Of The NEW Warzone Map 'Caldera' Has Been Leaked And It Looks Unbelievable

There's a lot going on in this image above, so let's break it down.

First, you'll notice the layout of 'Caldera' (the new Warzone map coming on December 2nd) is overlaid over the Verdansk that we know and despise love.

The map size appears to be very similar, however we don't know if this map is drawn to the same scale as Verdansk or not. The one thing we can all agree on, Verdansk was a very well sized map. There was more than enough space for 150 people to land and every end circle felt very different from the previous one. So I'm hoping the map's actual size remains the same or very close to as is.

The POIs (points of interest) that I can see are:

- City Capital (appears off the map)

- Airport

- Fishing Village (Reminds me of Fortnite)

- Submarine Base

- Beach Defenses

- Naval Shipyard

- Ancient Structures

- Volcano (imagine this erupting at random times throughout the game - would feel like playing on Pompeii)

- Faro Farms

- Ore? Processing Docks

The biggest difference between Verdansk and Caldera is the amount of water around the map. Verdansk was a city surrounded by land except for the water at the South end of the map near Prison and Promenade. The entirety of Caldera appears to be surrounded by water except for that South side named "City Capital."

One of my biggest questions about the new map was if we'd be able to use boats to travel around the map similar to Blackout from Black Ops 4. If the water is only on the outskirts of the map, this wouldn't seem likely. However, I wouldn't be surprised if CoD put some random rivers and bodies of water throughout the map as seen in these leaked images.

Boats would be a cool addition, but it won't make or break the map.

What do you wanna see from Caldera?
