Lit Notices Someone in Nashville Singing 'My Own Worst Enemy' and Surprises Him on Stage

This is why Nashville is the coolest city in America. Lit members A. Jay Popoff and Jeremy Popoff noticed someone covering their hit "My Own Worst Enemy" at a bar in downtown Nashville — seemingly as they were just passing by — and hopped on stage and performed with him.

Even in New York, I don't think something like this could happen. The area around Broadway where this took place is just Bridgestone Arena, the Country Music Hall of Fame and then a ton of bars where you can find the most talented musicians you've never heard of and then have the ones you have heard of stop by and enjoy the show. Nashville is such an awesome town.

My favorite part of the video, though, is that I'm not 100 percent convinced this guy knew who joined him on stage. As a matter of fact, I think I'm convinced of the opposite. Maybe he figured it out along the way, but I knew this song and couldn't have told you who sang it and certainly couldn't have picked the band members out of a lineup.

Regardless, that's a pretty awesome moment whenever he figured out what was happening. Nashville rocks.
