Spittin Chiclets Top Player From Each Country At The 2022 Olympics

Canada - Mat Robinson - KHL veteran defenseman returns to the Olympics and will be a huge part of their success. I could see him paired with Owen Power to be their #1 pair. If Canada wants to win Gold, he will need to have a monster tournament.

China -  Brandon Yip - Chiclets guest and captain of China has put in a lot of long days in the KHL waiting for this Olympic moment. Leader on and off the ice to keep China comepetitive.

Czechia - David Krejčí -  Legendary Boston Bruin, if you don’t know him to feel free to direct message Feitelberg or Marina and ask how badly they are hoping he comes back after the Olympics.

Denmark - Frans Nielsen - A veteran of nearly 1,000 career games with the New York Islanders and Detroit Red Wings.

Finland - Niko Ojamaki - KHL sniper is leading the league with 29 goals. Finland always does well in international tournaments and Niko will have to score some big goals for them to compete for gold.

Germany - Yasin Ehliz - A speedy winger for Munchen Red Bull in the DEL is returning to the Olympics and looking to do even better than their Silver Medal from 2018 in Korea.

Latvia - Kaspars Daugavins - Former Bruin has been a mainstay in the KHL since he left the NHL always putting up points wherever he has gone.

Russia - Vadim Shipachyov - KHL leading scorer and one of the league’s all-time greats. Tried his hand in the NHL with Vegas, and played as well as I did for the Big Deal Selects, so went back to Russia and the big contracts of the KHL.

Slovakia - Peter Cehlárik - Omsk winger dominated in Sweden last year earning a nice contract in the KHL. Has a big-time shot and will be important on Slovakia’s power play if they are going to pull any upsets.

Sweden - Sweden gets 2 because I have two former linemates from Timrå IK on the team. Anton Lander, the former Edmonton Oiler now plays in the KHL and won the Gagarin Cup with Ak Bars Kazan. Max Friberg had a cup of coffee with the Anaheim Ducks and now suits up for Frolunda in the SHL.  Both have played for the National Team numerous times and were standouts in the World Junior Championships.

Switzerland - Yannick Weber - former NHLer with Montreal, Vancouver, and Nashville, he will log a ton of minutes on the backend for the Swiss.

USA - Matty Beniers - Every time Team USA steps on the ice the 2021 #2 overall pick of the Seattle Kraken will have all eyes on him. Currently playing for the University of Michigan this kid will be a stud for years to come.

These are just a few of the great players you will see throughout the tournament. They may not all be household names, but most of these guys could play in the NHL. Going to be an exciting tournament and as always, EBR will have some winners for the crew.
