Odell Beckham Is Open To Returning To The Browns Now That Baker Mayfield Is Gone (With Bonus Thank You Message for the Past 2 Days)

Okay, back to work. But first I wanted to take a second to thank all of the common man readers of this site that have given me so much support over the last couple days. I know it was insinuated that we all live "the simple life" and that what we do on a day-to-day basis is easier than "being locked in a room gambling on sports for 4 days", but some of these guys couldn't last a day in our shoes. Reminds me of when Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie starred on a television series where they struggled to do manual, low-paying labor such as farm work, cleaning, and serving in fast food restaurants. "The Simple Life"

Anyways, I thought the Dave Portnoy Show went well. A couple of my 7th graders felt Rico should have had to stay on longer (12-year old Skells), but I was able to use that as a life lesson. Don't be the kid who takes your ball and goes home. If you want to take all of the credit when things are going well, you need to be ready to take all of the blame when things go poorly. Texted my point guard that this morning as well.

Okay -- I'm moving on. I don't have issues with either of those guys. I just thought it was time for someone to swing back at the bully.

Cleveland.com - Mary Kay Cabot

A source told cleveland.com that Beckham is open to the possibility because he loved his teammates and Browns fans, and only left when things reached the point of no return with Baker Mayfield.

But now that Mayfield is on his way out and three-time Pro Bowler Deshaun Watson is here, Beckham, 29, wouldn’t rule out coming back if the Browns were interested.

In one word: no.

Not in a million years should the Browns consider bringing back OBJ. At some point we need to stop being a dramatic circus of a franchise, and re-signing a player whose father forced him out of town via YouTube video and then his son actively told players not to go to Cleveland would be a billion steps in the wrong direction.

And to anyone saying OBJ got a ring as soon as he left the Browns, let us remember that who you surround yourself with matters. Can't think of any examples in the Barstool world, but I'm not convinced I couldn't have joined the LA Rams this season and caught a couple balls when teams were keying in on 2,400-yard receiver Cooper Kupp.

You could not be more out on this idea than I am. Although this lineup does look pretty darn good……

QB: Deshaun Watson

RB: Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt

WR: Amari Cooper, Odell Beckham Jr

TE: David Njoku

OL: Best in the NFL

No, stop it Tate. We don't want him. Too much drama. And it SOUNDS like the Browns agree, with this reporter calling it "unlikely." I also would've called it unlikely that the Browns got Deshaun Watson after Deshaun Watson said he wasn't going to the Browns though….

My two cents is that if we're bringing someone back, it should be Jarvis Landry. A positive locker room presence that 100% of the fans respect.
