I Love That Druw Jones (Son Of Andruw Jones) Was Flaunting His Stats On Twitter In An Attempt To Be The #1 Pick In The Draft
It's no secret that Druw Jones is a freak baseball player. His papa was Andruw Jones, a man who should be in Cooperstown but that's a discussion for another day. The younger Jones has the same skillset as his dad and has a legit chance to go #1 in the MLB Draft soon. I'd love it if this kid was wearing orange and black, he's electric. He does it all, a legit 5-tool kid. He took to twitter this week to remind people how damn good he is, and honestly I love it. Get those stats out there kid. Show teams that you don't really want to end up at Vandy if you're picked top 3 which he should be. He's clearly the best kid in the draft this season. Just look at those numbers. .570 average, a cool .675 OBP lololol. 65 hits in a high school season is insane, 23 extra base hits combined, 13 bombs, 72 runs!!!!!! Only 9 Ks on the year too with 32 stolen bases. Oh, he also went 10-1 on the bump. Decent! Those are video game numbers. That is what my RTTS guy does in MLB The Show on rookie. He's doing it in his senior year of high school with a potential #1 draft spot hanging over his head.

We saw this clip go viral earlier this year, kid is a dog. Go ahead and chant that he's overrated and he'll hit a ball so far it'll leave you in awe. Decent clutch gene on this kid.
He can really go get it too. If you're too young to remember, his dad was one of the best defensive centerfielders we've ever seen, 10 time Gold Glove winner. Not saying he will win 10 GGs in his big league career, but Druw is a damn good fielder and looks like his pops out there.
This guy is the man, he's the real deal. He's not going to Vandy, he'll be in a loaded farm system next year and be on his way to the big hopefully very soon. I love the cockiness to post his stats too, we all know he's good, we see him on social media platforms. But for him to throw out his .675 OBP and be like "are y'all seeing this?" is great. Some team is going to be very, very happy when they get this guy in the beginning of the draft.
